Sosa's response to the dream argument

Abstract

 In this article, I propose a systematic reconstruction and evaluation of Sosa's antiskeptical proposal. The analysis will focus primarily on the skeptical dream argument. First, I outline the fundamental basic structure of the argument, which is not always entirely clear in the original text. Second, I propose additional analytical tools, which Sosa does not use, in order to shed greater light on the underlying argument. Finally, I propose a plausible defense of the argument that, while retaining Sosa's spirit, will make use of the elements introduced in the second part.
