The Gamification as an innovative teaching proposal for the area of physical education
Main Article Content
The diversity of methodologies can be a motivation for teachers to opt for more innovative strategies, where the use of ICT can be very interesting. Gamification can combine both dimensions, being a form of gamification of learning, putting the game at the centre of the teaching-learning process. The aim of this work was to develop an innovative teaching-learning proposal with the intention of increasing the motivation of schoolchildren, based on the pedagogical model of gamification. As the most relevant didactic results, an innovative didactic proposal is shown, entitled "mission impossible: saving physical education" through which a didactic adventure is constructed where the students have to adopt certain roles during the playful development
of the work session. It can be concluded that the level of motivation of the students has been very high, being valued this teaching proposal very positively by the students themselves, and from the teaching perspective, the initially proposed didactic objectives have been achieved.
