Abstract

Commentary to the Proemium of the recent apostolic constitution Veritatis Gaudium of Pope Francis that orders ecclesiastical studies. This introductory text of the Constitution offers specific elements of the current Pope’s thought in order to advance, with novelty and resolution, important proposals for renewing the system of ecclesiastical studies. These proposals deserve to be considered in some detail.
