Abstract
In this study we present the figure of Antonio de Lebrija and his biblical vocation: his humanist formation and knowledge of languages as well as his participation in the Complutense Polyglot Bible. We show the relationship of Cardinal Cisneros with the hu-manist through the Epistle of the Master of Lebrixa to the Cardinal. Next we expose the points of contact between Nebrija and the Novum Testamentum of Erasmus of Rotterdam, and finally we deploy models or types of exegesis presenting the similarities and differ-ences between the latter two.
