							Abstract

The present work discovers in the reliquary of the Cathedral of Salamanca a chapel where the reality depicted on its walls perfectly complements the reality carried out in a tangible way in the headwall, both forming a final unit, a whole of holistic significance well linked and built at the dawn of the 19th century. A singular, little-known set, designed by Félix Prieto Rivas, with its corresponding theoretical approach, is recovered and presented, while its subsequent transformation is traced.
