Abstract

The contemporary crisis over the sacramental initiation demands a doctrinal clarification and a new re-programming in the life of the communities. After confirming its paradoxical actuality in the frayed contemporary culture, this selective and succinct study addresses in its nuclear part the defining axes of the Christian-Paschal novelty, from the suggestive anthropological bases to its own theological semantics, with a special focus on the formal traits that, from their organic unity, give it its singular procedural meaning and its identity in the field of Church’s life. From them, a series of questions and challenges to the praxis of the faith of the communities are imposed as pressing urgencies.
