Cuadernos salmantinos de filosofía: Fifty Years

Abstract

The text is written on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the creation of Cuadernos salmantinos de filosofía, in 1974. It analyses the context in which the journal emerged, with particular attention to the situation of philosophy studies at that time. It also exposes the process of adapting the journal to new demands throughout its history, as well as the role that periodicals play in the constitution and transmission of knowledge and in the development of the professional career of the PDI.
