Abstract

Sloterdijk Spheres rests on the observation that homo sapiens is the evolutionary product with the highest rate of spontaneity and as such is affected by sympathetic influences from other living beings. The creation of atmospheres for his psychic immunity is his own, hence the author's explanatory continuum is the semi-metaphorical idea of a greenhouse. Our reading of this theory (and baroque novel) gives rise to its affirmation about the positive affectivity of these spaces, which today take on the morphology of a foamy habitat for a luxury and pampering being, in direct opposition to the decentered and deconstructed subject of the pessimistic approaches, whose overcoming we analyze throughout the three volumes.
