Abstract

Blinded by a world whose narrative is centered on the pursuit of scientific and technical progress, it is easy to fall into the temptation of reducing, as insignificant, any other type of knowledge. But the reality is different. The reductionism in which this approach is installed as if it were a dogma closed on itself, gives us the keys to the harmful consequences in which the majority of this society survives. These approaches of over-emphasizing the scientific
and technical aspects do not lead to a more just society. In addition to this fact, it is possible that the attitude of society is divided between those who
do not want to change the paradigms that have always worked for a part of the most powerful and economically strong in society (a tenth of the population in the best of cases) and between those who struggle to achieve survival based on a capacity to adapt to what is economically possible, austere and socially more significant.
