							Abstract

Wittgenstein’s main works in which references to the concept of phenomenology (Phänomenologie) appear most frequently are the Philosophische Bemerkungen (1929-1930), the Philosophische Grammatik (1931-1934) and The Big Typescript (1933-1934). However, it seems necessary to point out that the Wittgensteinian use of the topic “phenomenology” does not seem to be linked to the Husserlian phenomenological tradition. In this sense, the main goal of this paper is not simply an exegesis of the true intentions of Wittgenstein or Husserl, but a detailed evaluation of the role played by the concept of phenomenology in both authors and, at the same time, how grammar is based on the justification of the use of words in a given language.
