Abstract

With the rise of technology, humanity begins the implementation of artificial intelligence (AI) processes, which may present a technological singularity, which defines the ability of this technology to evolve in its cognitive logics and take them to levels of autonomous improvement above human capabilities. Thus, through this article and supported by the dramatic argument called Deus ex Machina, it is intended to expose the dependence that is being created in the human being before artificial intelligence and from a prospective vision, to propose the consequences that this entails for existence of the human being in the face of the existential impossibility of coping with his own destiny and the loss of free will due to the influence and technological superiority, specifying the analogy of a perception of the human being towards machines as God, generating a degradation of the individual and of society, leading the Deus ex Machina to control the human being, placing him on the brink of extinction or existential dependence
