Abstract
The purpose of this work is to value an open and responsible innovation model for technological development. This model allows to question the scientific culture that understands the process of knowledge generation in terms of monopolies and oligopolies, privileging a top-down approach. This approach presents a communication deficit between the technological experts and the other interest groups affected by the technology. In this sense, it is important to promote responsible research and innovation, thereby establishing a communication thread between what is desirable and what is acceptable.
