Abstract
The project of emancipation that Paul Lafargue presents in Le droit à la paresse constitutes not only one of the first documents of analysis of capitalist society and its revolutionary possibilities, but also the starting point of a tradition of emancipation different from that of classical socialism. However, in the very development of the analysis, the practical problems that this tradition has ended up developing can already be seen in a theoretical way.
