The role of the university in the eradication of the poverty and the inequality education for the social responsabilidty

Abstract

In this review it considers about the situation of poverty and inequality what
it devastates the world in this new century pointing out the role that the University develops
in the social change and in the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals. University
faces a big challenge and responsibility, to contribute to the creation of a sustainable
and equal world. University Education becomes in guide for a society which needs, today
more than ever, of a critical awareness what makes them to act from the social responsibility
and the ethical agreement. In this investigation, it explains a specific case, the subject of
Education for Social Responsibility imparted in Francisco de Vitoria University like a subject
which helps the students to involve personally to achieve to social justice and the common
well-being, working actively to influence in the attainment of the SDG´s.
