Abstract

This paper is aimed to reveal the internal struggle that Miguel de Unamuno maintained between his reason and his faith. This inner stress affected his confused search for the God of reason and, consequently, his recognition of the God of love. Thus we will analyse the unamunian´s conceptions of religion and the resurrection of the flesh, which will lead us to understand that the Christian history is a love story. All these subjects are enriched by unpublished related notes thereof, written by Unamuno and located in his Casa-Museo of the University of Salamanca
