Abstract

This article focuses on the thoughts that arose from a reinterpretation of the Letter to a teacher by the Schoolboys of Barbiana and his teacher Lorenzo
Milani. As any new interpretation of the same text, this means look and listen with the aim and desire to unlearn all walked to learn again. Contributions are indebted to a conviction and a betrayal. The conviction is held in the need to think and rethink constantly about the needs and orientations of the training of teachers. Betrayal is evident from the moment we are trying to respond individually to a letter which is the result of the work, effort and collective ideals and, of course, shared. 
The text presents some experiences in subjects of Bachelor of Training teacher around the reading of a Letter to a teacher, but above all discussed the content of this classic of contemporary pedagogy from the perspective of the reflection about the current needs of the training of teachers.
