Papeles Salmantinos de Educación is a scientific journal published by the Faculty of Education and its Publications Service since 2001. Each year, an issue is published with three sections: Experiences, Essays and Reviews.

The journal publishes works that contribute to the enrichment of knowledge in education, which may be: quantitative or qualitative empirical studies, theoretical, historical or review studies, etc. Bibliographical reviews are also published.

The thematic lines of the journal are: Early Childhood Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Vocational Training and University Education, teacher training, educational quality, tutoring, methodologies, teaching-learning process, evaluation, interculturality, groups at risk of social exclusion, specific needs, evaluation of programmes, centres, teachers, educational guidance and psycho-pedagogical intervention, guidance in learning processes, diagnosis of competences, etc.

Initially, the journal was published in printed format. Since 2012 it has been published exclusively in electronic form. E-ISSN: 2695-5644.


The journal does not necessarily share the opinions and judgements expressed in published papers.
