Abstract
This article is a presentation and comment of the Document of the year
2019 "The reciprocity between faith and sacraments in the sacramental economy" prepared by the International Theological Commission. Attention is focused on the statements referring to the Sacrament of Matrimony, highlighting how they are exposed and they develop the most fundamental questions in the field of canonical marriage law such as the sacramentality of marriage, marriage between "baptized non-believers" and the inseparability between contract and sacrament.
