Abstract

This article analyzes several political and  hilosophical implications of the Artificial Intelligence that directs the Social Networks. In the first place, social polarization is studied, which is observed as a consequence of the search for economic benefits, which in turn creates the need to offer controversial content to maximize the presence of users on Social Networks. Second, the increase in political control, due to the predictive and manipulative capacity of the AI that run these networks. Finally, it will study the alleged neutrality and transparency of said technology. In the three moments of this work, tools will be used from the analytical arsenal that some authors of 20th century philosophy have bequeathed to us, such as Horkheimer, Marcuse, Habermas, Mosterín, Gramsci and Quintanilla, among others, whose proposals are applied to the studied reality. Finally, practical proposals will be outlined in the face of the problem described.
