Spanish Journal of Canon Law

Founded in 1947, our Journal is the oldest of its speciality in Spain and one of the most representative and influential in its field worldwide. With a very significant number of subscribers, although predominantly from Europe and America, it is found on all five continents.
In its Scientific or Advisory Committee are represented the countries that are most distinguished in the cultivation of Canon and Ecclesiastical Law. Its different sections (articles, documentation and reviews) enable its readers to keep up to date and abreast of the current state of the art in this speciality.

From June 9-11, 2026, this biannual meeting organized by the Faculty of Canon Law of the Pontifical University of Salamanca for legal professionals will be held in Malaga, with the collaboration of the Judicial Vicariate of the diocese, focusing on current issues in matrimonial law and canonical procedure. Papers submitted to the organization and accepted by it may also be sent to the Journal for evaluation and publication, if appropriate.
