Founded in 1947, our Journal is the oldest of its speciality in Spain and one of the most representative and influential in its field worldwide. With a very significant number of subscribers, although predominantly from Europe and America, it is found on all five continents.
In its Scientific or Advisory Committee are represented the countries that are most distinguished in the cultivation of Canon and Ecclesiastical Law. Its different sections (articles, documentation and reviews) enable its readers to keep up to date and abreast of the current state of the art in this speciality.

XXI Simposio de derecho matrimonial y procesal canónico para profesionales del foro

From September 15–17, 2026, this biannual conference—organized by the Faculty of Canon Law for legal professionals and focusing on current issues in matrimonial and canonical procedural law—will be held at the main campus of the Pontifical University of Salamanca, both in person and online. Papers submitted to the organizers and accepted by them may also be submitted to the Journal for evaluation and publication, if appropriate.
