THE CRIMINAL LIABILITY OF LEGAL PERSONS IN THE 1917 CIC AND IN CURRENT LEGISLATION

Abstract

My porpouse in this work is to study the criminal liability of juridic persons in the Code of Canon Law of 1917 as well as its abolition of this responsability operated by the Code of 1983. Subsequently, Vatican City State Law No. VIII,  of 11 July 2013, containing Supplementary Norms on Criminal Law Matters has reintroduced it. Finally, I analyzed briefly the recent reform of Book VI of the Code of Canon Law where this responsibility does not appear as it already happened in 1983
