The preservation of the cultural wealth of the cloisters

Abstract

Cultural heritage concerns the supranational organisations, because the deterioration risk, and the derelict religious communities. Spain takes means of protection and promotion, mostly in the Autonomous Communities level, often in the form of agreements with local ecclesiastical authorities. Among the emerging problems, none is as serious as the deterioration of the religious communities, with damage on its monumental, cultural and intangible wealth.
