Tetrarchy and its political theology its implications in Church-empire relations

Abstract

The present work analyzes from the historical, theological and political point of view (“political theology”) what was the political-religious conception of the power of the members of the tetrarchy in Rome, prior to the «edict of Milan», providing an approach different from the roots of the Church-Empire relationship.
