Approach to a miscellaneous legal code the MS. Lat. 4670-A of the bibliotheque nationale de France

Abstract

This article describes and discusses Ms. LAT. 4670-A de la Bibliothèque Nationale de France. The particularity of this specimen lies in pertaining to a group of manuscripts that have not so far been taken into account as a formal group. These are a series of legal miscellanies, born all in the heat of medieval Catalan legal-political life, some of a marked institutional character, others of a private nature, essential for the work of political leaders, jurisconsults, judges, lawyers and, in short, of all those who, in one way or another, deal with public businesses and must handle certain official documentation.
