A Comentary about the Latae Sententiae Penalties

Abstract

This paper is a reflection about the canonical sense of the penalties in the Codex Iuris Canonici since 1983 in force and, in particular, about the latae sententiae censures. It features the cast of its criminal types and examines some aspects of the excommunication penalty, to finally highlight the obligation on the Apostolic faith guarding as specifical missio for the hierarchs of Catholic Church.
