Abstract

The reception of Roman Law in the current positive Rights is a material of special interest for researchers, because it is at the base of the best understanding of the influence that the former has had in the current legal systems, especially in the Germanic tradition. Among them is the canon law, which since the twelfth century has received the influence of the notions and legal technique inherited from Rome, reaching the codes of the twentieth century, not only of the promulgated in 1917, but also in the most recent for the Church Latin of 1983.
