Abstract

This article analyzes the argument of Patriarch Bartholomew that places as the foundation for overcoming of the environmental crisis and problems, the need to assert the primacy of spiritual values in determining, construction and development of an environmental ethics and action anchored in the worldview of Christianity. The work, from a discursive analysis process, identifies the most important environmental conceptions in Christianity.
