Abstract

The article proposes a reflection on the incidence of the context in the theological thinking about the Christology. The aim of this reflection is to show the need not only for reasoning about it, but also for a didactic one that may help the students to appropriately take on the dogmatic contents so that these can be inserted into the dynamics of evangelization. The basic idea is that there is no existential Christology, but only contextualized or decontextualized Christology. This implies a continuous reappropriation of its contents that shows that the lordship of Christ can assume all cultures and all moments of human history, salvificly consuming them
